Israeli elections can be confusing. Who are voters actually electing? How does the system work? And what exactly is a party slate?
Join the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond and Jewish Community Relations Council as we welcome Aviad Fishkin, Jewish Agency for Israel Regional Program Manager for the Southeast U.S., for an engaging discussion on everything you need to know about Israeli elections. Aviad will break down how the electoral system works, introduce the key political players, and explain what the results could mean.
Whether you’ve always been curious about Israeli politics or find yourself puzzled every election cycle, this is a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and gain a clearer understanding of the process.
The Jewish Community Relations Committee is the public relations and advocacy arm of the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond. Founded in 1935, JCFR represents Jewish constituents in the Greater Richmond and Central Virginia region.
