Tools for Talking Antisemitism

Thursday, April 18 | 5:30 -7:30 PM

Congregation Or Atid (10625 Patterson Ave., Henrico, VA 23238)

Please join the Jewish Community Relations Committee of Richmond and ADL Washington, D.C. for an evening designed for discussing and combatting antisemitism. This evening will feature two concurrent sessions: one designed for caregivers and one for teens.

Caregivers in attendance can expect to learn about the current state of antisemitism, strategies, tools for discussing antisemitism with young people, and space to connect with other caregivers about this topic. This program will feature selections from ADL’s Table Talks, which provide guidance on how to talk with young people about challenging topics.

Teen participants will participate in a Words to Action program. Words to Action is an interactive education program designed to help Jewish youth examine their identities and learn strategies to combat antisemitism and anti-Israel bias. Please click here to learn more about Words to Action.
